Two Apple Fitness+ Trainers Announce They’re Leaving the Service: Deadline

It’s the end of an era for Dustin Brown and Betina Gozo, two popular trainers on the Apple Fitness+ platform, as they announce their departure. Apple’s service provides workouts for subscribers with instructors who film their sessions in Los Angeles-based studios.

Brown shared in his Instagram that his departure “was not a goodbye. See you later.”

“I am going back to Australia full time! After being in the US for over two years, I had the opportunity to travel back to Australia and spend time in my studies and in the community here. It’s been a tough decision, but I’m still going and listening to my heart, and I’ve decided to come back to Melbourne!” Brown explained.

The yoga instructor said he already missed his team, which included on-camera talent as well as a “great behind-the-scenes support network that helps us all put on our best show.”

Joy also shared on Instagram that his “time on the Fitness+ coaching team” was “coming to an end”.

“I am so grateful to have been a part of this amazing team in Los Angeles, where I thought I would always live… but now my family and I are embarking on a new adventure in a new state, where we and Aluna will also live.” being closer to family (more to come!),” she explained.

Gozo shared a message for all of her followers, adding, “To everyone who has worked with me, thank you for inspiring me every day and allowing me to share my passions and culture with you. I am so grateful to have been a part of her journey for the past two years. I will always be cheering you on! Galing Galing!

The instructor shared that although she would be leaving Fitness+, her workouts and programs would remain in the library for future enjoyment.

Deadline has reached out to Apple for comment and will update if there is a response.

Apple is holding an event on September 7 where they plan to focus on hardware, but will occasionally update services related to their products.
